While her hairstyle was a spontaneous change, her outfits were planned in advance. “My Grand Slam outfits are planned basically a year to two years, even maybe sometimes longer in advance,” she further said, but stated that changes can always be made.

Especially when I sweat—when my hair isn’t in braids, the salt from my sweat dries out,” Gauff said.
