“I really do love fashion. I love makeup. I love that type of thing,” Coco Gauff once revealed, talking about her passion for fashion. From her stunning skills to her incredible fashion sense, Gauff never fails to impress her fans. The 21-year-old recently had a good day at the office in the Stuttgart Open, where she not only turned heads with her dominant performance in the R16 but also stole the spotlight with her flair for fashion. Her mother, Candi Gauff, and her peer, Taylor Townsend, can’t stop gushing over her stunning look.
Coco Gauff needed just 57 minutes to outclass Seidel by 6-1,6-1 in the pre-quarterfinals. Following that impressive victory against the German, the former US Open champion shared a few glimpses of that match on her Instagram account with the caption, “just a girl playing in her baby doll socks, pleated skirt, and muscles strong enough to squat your body weight 💅🏾🥰.”
After seeing that post, Gauff’s mother, Candi, dropped a heartfelt reaction in the comment box saying, “Baby doll” socks! ❤️” Even her father, Corey Gauff, commented, “@candigauff 😂😂.” Coco then replied to her mother saying, “@candigauff same thing.”

Even Taylor Townsend couldn’t stop herself from pouring love on Gauff’s adorable look, as she commented, “Purrrrr🙌🔥❤️.” In reply to that, Gauff also wrote, “@tay_taytownsend purrr.”
Coco Gauff hails her mother as one of her “biggest fans“. During an interview, she once revealed, “She’s (Candi Gauff) always reminding me, Do you have your headphones, change of shoes, clothes? Just things that moms, dads, they all do. I don’t think I’ll ever grow out of that as long as they’re alive.” So, she not only accompanies her during the Tour but also takes care of her daughter’s outfits when she is on the Tour. Was it the first time that Candi gushed over Coco’s incredible fashion sense, though? Not really.

Just a few weeks ago, when Gauff flaunted her natural curly-hairstyle in the Carol’s Daughter’s brand campaign in a social media post, her mother shared that post on her IG story with heart emojis.
Even during the 2025 AO, Gauff’s iconic all-neon outfit turned heads of many, including Tommy Paul’s girlfriend, Paige Lorenze. Sharing her stunning on-court look on her IG account, Gauff wrote, “neon brights for under the lights⚡️#AO,” Lorenze commented, “The kit is sooo goooooddd✨.” Later, Candi Gauff reshared one of her posts on her own social media account.

Coco Gauff spills the beans about the secret behind her incredible run in Stuttgart
After leading Team USA in their United Cup triumph, Coco Gauff has failed to find consistent success this season. She suffered an unexpected loss in the QF of the AO to Paula Badosa, and then had a horrid campaign in the Middle East swing. Even at the Sunshine Doubles, she failed to make her presence felt. Gauff went down to Poland’s Magda Linette in the R16 of the Miami Open in straight sets. However, she didn’t really let those defeats affect his morale and kept putting in the hard yards.
After defeating Seidel in the R16 of the Stuttgart Open, she revealed, “Yeah, I was already on clay right after Miami, basically. This year I came a little bit early just to give myself more time to adjust to the clay and indoor conditions here, too. … Overall, I think it was a good decision.“
With this win, Gauff is now all set to face the world number 6, Jasmine Paolini (ITA), in the QF. She has a 2-0 lead over the Italian in the H2H record, but this will be their first meeting in 20 months. “She’s an incredible mover, and she has a really good forehand. We haven’t played recently on tour, but we do practice together, like she said. Everybody knows about Jasmine and also the fight that she has in her. She never gives up. I have never seen her do that on the court,” Gauff said ahead of locking horns with Paolini.

Seidel struggled to find any sort of rhythm against Gauff in the previous match. But we must not forget that Paolini reached the final of the French Open last year. Considering her form on clay over the last few months, can she surprise the world number 4? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
