Sabalenka discovered her love in Frangulis when she was facing the darkest chapter of her life. Last year, she endured an unimaginable tragedy: the devastating loss of her former partner, ex-ice hockey player ‘Konstantin Koltsov,’ who died by suicide. Compounded by pre-existing emotional hardship, a significant injury compelled her withdrawal from Wimbledon, thus presenting a considerable challenge to her resilience in all facets of her life.
