Recent records revealed the different amounts the tennis players get paid to make a post on their official social media channel. And the surprising part here was that against the expectations of a lot of tennis fans, British tennis player Emma Raducanu gets paid more than Andy Murray.

When it comes to being listed in the category of the most marketable players in the year’s first grand slam season, the name of Andy Murray being included is no surprise as he was part of the tournament even though he exited the tournament right after the first round. But what surprised us the most was the fact that Emma Raducanu who is much younger than Murray is getting paid more than him.

According to the data, Emma Raducanu gets paid 12,200 £ for every post she makes about the tournament on her social media given that she has 2,400,000 followers on her Instagram account.

On the other hand, Andy Murray has very close to 2,000,000 followers on Instagram on his official Instagram account but gets paid 10,400 £ for a post.

The difference in their numbers is quite huge given that their followers are not so much apart. Also, Raducanu did not go very far in the AO 2024 as she exited the tournament in just the 2nd round.

The world number 1 in tennis is also at the top of this list as he is the one who gets paid the most for an Instagram post given that he has the most followers on social media as well.

With a follower count of 14,200,000, Djokovic gets 46,800 £ paid for each post he makes on his Instagram account. The world number 2 Carlos Alcaraz also takes the 2nd spot here as he gets 19,200 £ paid for a post and his followers count is 4,500,000.
