The 2024 Eisenhower Cup is all set to make a statement this year. The tournament is prepared for a display of tennis brilliance, uniting a constellation of shining stars from the tennis world as it introduces exciting additions set to elevate the competition. This will be the first time that the American sensation, Ben Shelton, will be seen playing a mixed double.

But on the other hand, he is not the only American who will be a part of the event; even Jessica Pegula and Taylor Fritz are ready to showcase their talents on the court. Both the 21-year-old tennis star and Pegula are part of the star-studded lineup for the $200,000 bounty.

The American tennis swing is about to start, and with the Indian Wells Masters approaching, a lot of top tennis players are ready to play an event featuring eight mixed doubles pairings, in the Eisenhower Cup is here. According to the official website of Indian Wells, the second consecutive year of the event will see a lot of new faces along with the players who were part of the event last year, including Aryna Sabalenka and Taylor Fritz.

However, the interesting addition to this year’s line-up is the 16th-ranked tennis player, Shelton, who will also be a part of this event alongside another former NCAA champion, Emma Navarro. On the other hand, the 29-year-old American, Pegula will take part in the event with Tommy Paul.

Shelton’s participation in the event is expected to be exciting and competitive, given their stellar year of tennis court accomplishments, including him and Pegula making their place in the top 20. The event is particularly an Indian Wells exhibition match, in which the winner will take home, $200,000 as the prize money altogether.

The charity tennis event will see a lot of superstars from both tours step up. While there will be a lot of unexpected new pairs coming up this year, the old ones have remained the same, such as Iga Swiatek and Hubert Hurkacz, followed by Aryna Sabalenka and Taylor Fritz.

Further, Caroline Wozniacki will be seen playing alongside Holger Rune, whereas Elena Rybakina will team up with Andrey Rublev, and the 2024 Australian Open finalists, Qinwen Zheng and Frances Tiafoe. Lastly, the tennis power couple, Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas, will also be seen participating together in the event.
