A safe haven where Sophie Cunningham used to pull back the heavy curtain on the WNBA and talk about her life with her high school ride-or-die friend is no more. It has been several weeks since the last episode of Show Me Something was launched, and while many speculated that something had gone wrong between Cunningham and West Wilson, the Indiana Fever guard has now confirmed that something has changed.

On Thursday, Cunningham announced a new chapter for the podcast. In collaboration with The Volume, the Fever guard revealed the launch of the No Hesitation Show, where every Thursday, Cunningham and her new co-host, basketball trainer Drew Hanlen, will sit down for unfiltered WNBA and NBA talk while also sharing “behind-the-scenes stories and expert insight from two people who know the game.”
As the announcement of the relaunched podcast hit Instagram, Sophie Cunningham wasted no time showing her excitement. Responding to the post in the comments, the Fever star left a one-word reaction that perhaps said more than a lengthy explanation could have.
“MUWAHAHHA😏😏😏😏😏,” she wrote.
The reaction comes as Cunningham moves on from the podcast she once hosted alongside Wilson – her high school best friend. All of the previous episodes featuring the two are still available on the channel, but the page has since been updated with the new name, and the first episode of Cunningham’s conversations with Hanlen has already dropped.
Front Office Sports also confirmed the change, writing on X, “Sophie Cunningham has parted ways with her podcast cohost, high school best friend West Wilson, in favor of a new show on The Volume with trainer Drew Hanlen.”
FOS also revealed that the changes to Show Me Something had been in the works “for months,” with the program’s one-year deal expiring and Cunningham and Volume officials wanting a show that was more strictly focused on basketball.
Still, the timing of the split has naturally raised questions, particularly after Cunningham and Wilson found themselves on different sides of one of the WNBA’s most polarizing conversations.
Cunningham has been under fire for months after her comments about protecting young girls in the locker room went viral. Her remarks ignited a debate over whether transgender athletes should be allowed to compete in women’s sports, and it quickly became one of the most divisive issues surrounding the league.
Wilson, meanwhile, appeared to take a different stance. He took to TikTok and described the presence of transgender athletes in women’s sports as “borderline non-existent,” while also taking issue with the political noise surrounding the conversation as it continued to catch fire.
Since then, speculation surrounding the longtime friends’ podcast partnership has only grown. Show Me Something went dark, and now Sophie Cunningham has officially found a new co-host and rebooted the channel.
That does not necessarily mean the friendship itself has ended. Cunningham and Wilson still follow each other on Instagram, leaving the exact nature of their relationship away from the podcast unclear.
What is clear, however, is that the 30-year-old is excited about what comes next.
Taking to her Instagram Stories after the announcement, the Fever guard celebrated the return of her podcast with a simple message: “THE PODCAST IS BACK BABYYYY❗❗❗❗”
And this time, she will have a very different basketball mind sitting across from her.
Hanlen is the CEO of Pure Sweat Basketball and has built a reputation for working with some of the biggest names in the NBA, including Jayson Tatum, Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, Tyrese Haliburton, Bradley Beal, Zach LaVine and Chet Holmgren.
So with Hanlen bringing years of experience working with elite NBA talent and Cunningham bringing her own perspective from inside the WNBA, the new show appears set to lean much more heavily into basketball.
The next chapter for Sophie Cunningham has officially begun. And if her mischievous one-word reaction is any indication, she is more than ready for it.
