Angel Reese, the LSU powerhouse, was left starstruck—not by a buzzer-beater, but by a sideline sensation. During the Unrivaled event, a WNBA veteran’s dad turned the spotlight on himself with his over-the-top courtside antics. Reese, known for her own flair, was all smiles. Talk about stealing the show!

The mystery man? None other than Courtney Williams’ dad. Reese took to Twitter to share her amusement, writing, “i love me some courtney williams man! & her dad on the sideline is everything!!”

Courtney Williams had a good beginning on the court, as she took on Rhyne Howard for round 2 of 1 vs 1 tournament. The Lynx star went in 8-0 with 4 jumpers. Though Howard would later turn the game around for 9-8, a 3-point shooting foul turned out to be the decider. Williams knocked her free throw to soar 11-9 and proceed to the quarter-finals.

Certainly, that’d leave Angel Reese in admiration. But more eager of all was Courtney’s father, Don Williams.

As the Lynx star prepared for her next game against Napheesa Collier, it was Sydney Colson this time whose eyes Don caught. “Courtney’s dad givin a pep talk during the timeout,” she revealed. But this is nothing new for the father-daughter duo. His infectious energy has become a staple at her games and it has been so since she was a kid.

“He’s been there all my life,” Courtney had said during the WNBA finals last year. “I’m used to him acting the way he act. That’s not no distraction — that’s just him. You don’t even notice it, I ain’t gonna lie. He’s just been doing it all my life.”

Angel Reese balances Hoops, hustle, and BFF goals with Latto amid McD’s milestone

The Chicago Sky forward and WNBA All-Star, has been on a roll off the court. She’s taking over the fast-food game too. But this week, it wasn’t her record-breaking rebounds or her new McDonald’s meal that had everyone talking. It was her love for her BFF, Grammy-nominated rapper Latto, that stole the spotlight.

From becoming the first female athlete with her own McDonald’s meal to setting WNBA records, she’s proving she’s a force to be reckoned with. But when Latto shouted her out to celebrate the meal’s launch, Reese’s response—“Big Mama so pretty”—showed her softer side.

The two have been tight since Reese starred in Latto’s music video for “Put It On Da Floor Again” with Cardi B. She returned the favor by appearing on the McDonald’s Super Bowl ad. Reese may be enjoying some time off the court now, but she has been putting in the work.
