A few weeks have passed since the Indiana Fever’s heartbreaking Game 5 loss to the Las Vegas Aces in the WNBA semifinals. A series that could’ve panned out differently if not for the injury bug that sidelined several key names, including Caitlin Clark. Yet even with her season cut extremely short, the 2024 ROTY’s star power hasn’t dimmed even one bit. She remains the face of the WNBA and continues to make headlines beyond the hardwood. Her latest off-court move is just another reminder of the mighty impact she has.
The news came on Saturday when the Fever ace announced a brand-new partnership with Dick’s Sporting Goods for the launch of her Nike “Caitlin Clark Court Collection.” Taking to Instagram, she unveiled a new line of apparel designed to capture her on-court edge and off-court flair. “Caitlin’s Court – fits to go from hoops to hang. Now available at DICK’S House of Sport,” she wrote.
The video opens with Caitlin Clark in her comfort zone: the basketball court. But instead of launching her trademark deep threes, she’s locked into a different kind of grind. From muscle-building drills to strength and conditioning work, Clark has been showcased putting in the hard yards. Between workouts, the youngster strikes a few confident poses, which appear as Polaroid pictures throughout the video.

For those unaware, Caitlin Clark and DICK’S Sporting Goods already made history once. The largest sporting goods retailer in the U.S. had announced that it would sell Fever t-shirts with Clark’s name and number in all 724 of its stores. It was the first time a female athlete had her apparel available nationwide at every DICK’S location. And now, they’re taking that partnership to the next level with the new Nike Women’s Universa Medium-Support Padded Sport Bra, retailing at $65.
As expected, fans couldn’t stay quiet after such a significant drop. The announcement sent social media into a frenzy!

Fans couldn’t get enough of the look Clark rocked in the video, flooding the comments with praise like, “Damn girl 🔥🔥🔥🔥” and “CANNOT WAIT TO GET THE FITS! 🔥🔥🔥🔥.” With her collection now available both online and in every DICK’S Sporting Goods store, it’s safe to say demand will be off the charts. After all, this is the same player who single-handedly drove a 601% rise in WNBA merchandise sales during her rookie season. And her $28 million, 8-year deal with Nike, which remains the largest endorsement deal in women’s basketball to date, is proof of her power off the court.
A netizen wrote, “Absolutely cannot wait until we can watch you play again! You have been sorely missed,” while another fan said, “Looking forward to seeing you next season, Caitlin!“ ❤️🔥👏” This sentiment has echoed across the community. Clark’s sophomore season wasn’t what anyone had hoped for. She suffered the first major injury of her career with a left quadriceps strain, and that spiraled into two more groin injuries, limiting her to just 13 games. It’s hard not to wonder what could’ve been. If she stayed healthy, maybe the Fever’s championship dream wouldn’t have been cut short in the semifinals!

The wait to see her back in action goes on, and fans are definitely getting restless. One of them summed it up perfectly, saying, “Miss you GOAT!! Let’s get some practice footage or something soon please! LMAO.” In the commercial, Clark is seen on the court putting in the work, but noticeably, there’s no actual basketball action, no dribbling, no shooting, just strength and conditioning drills.
Of course, it’s unclear when the commercial was shot or if it was ever meant to include basketball footage. But considering her current injury situation, it’s likely that filming basketball-specific scenes just wasn’t an option this time around.
Lastly, a fan said,“Caitlin ,Please go back to the way you played,When breaking 62 records,Do not be a decoy for White ,Do not let yourself be diminished by Whites style of coaching, It’s you’re Team ,Be the Point guard and leader you were born to be ,Hope the recovery for you is going along nicely,Take care ❤️”
That’s been one of the most significant talking points among Fever fans this year: The Caitlin Clark usage debate. Many felt that Stephanie White didn’t utilize Clark’s offensive talents to the fullest, often running sets that limited her freedom. Coach White has always been more focused on building a team-first system rather than revolving the offense entirely around the 2024 ROTY, as she wanted to win, and that’s fair. But fans didn’t necessarily like that approach.
Of course, injuries didn’t help. Her shooting efficiency dropped from 41.7% to 36.7%, and her three-point percentage slid to just 27.9%. Still, with a full offseason to recover and reset, it’s fair to expect that we’ll see the best version of Caitlin Clark once she’s fully healthy again. For now, the Fever ace’s focus remains on recovery, which will result in her missing her second consecutive season of Unrivaled due to the injury setback.
