The video shows Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Plum in high spirits as they are getting some light training done. The shootaround also shows Paige Bueckers mingling with CC and Plum, engaging in a fun-filled conversation. What really caught everyone’s eye was how perfectly CC was hitting the jump shots from outside the arc.
Clark, who has been off the court for nearly eight months now because of lingering injury concerns, didn’t seem like she had missed a beat. Inactivity has not caused her any problems, and she can still have that same level of control over a game.
She was moving like a gazelle on the court, and her jumpshot form was impeccable, which is a very promising sign for Team USA. On the other end, we had Kelsey Plum, fresh off the Unrivaled finals, making the top 5 cut.

The USA will play their first game against Senegal, followed by the hosts, Puerto Rico, Italy, New Zealand, and Spain, and from the looks of the practice, the morale of the team looks quite high.
The training footage quickly became quite a hit among the fans, who had a few words of their own to share on the matter.

In the WNBA, both Clark and Plum are rivals trying to outdo each other on the court. Both being elite scorers for their respective teams, hardly get time to interact with one another. Seeing these two come together and having an amicable conversation does add an extra layer of a feel-good factor that you don’t commonly come across.

“I love this duo, keep the content coming, admin,” requested another fan who was deeply impressed with what they saw.
Fans would also love to see them operate on court together and hope that Kara Lawson uses this developing bond to also translate into on-court domination when the games start. Clark’s movement pretty much implies that she is game-ready, and that should definitely worry the opposition if they are not doing their homework on her.

“Cc has such an aesthetically pleasing jumpshot,” said a fan in awe of her shooting form.

Clark’s shooting technique is lauded by many because of its sheer precision. She uses a rare shooting rhythm where she subtly skips into her shot, which sets the ball before her feet leave the ground, giving her a faster release and smoother rhythm. Her 6’0 frame also makes it difficult for defenders to create diversions as she keeps maximizing her arc and accuracy from range, making her a lethal player, and leaving fans wanting to see more

Another fan is also making theories about Plum making a move to Indiana after this.
“Plum to Indiana confirmed,” said another fan, hoping that Kelsey and Caitlin now also play together in the WNBA.
Kelsey is not a free agent now and is still under contract with the Los Angeles Sparks, but will soon move into free agency. She makes an annual salary of $202,000 as per Sportrac and if she does look to go into free agency, she would definitely make the scouting list of many WNBA clubs with what they have seen from her so far. Even last season, she averaged 19.5 points in the WNBA with 3.1 rebounds, and now you have the Unrivaled performance to also take into the equation.

The possibilities are immense, and as such, anything can happen. With the CBA deal hanging in the balance, it is still quite unclear what the future holds for these stars. But for those WNBA admirers, they can now enjoy and get to see their favorite stars play for their national colors, and that prospect isn’t too bad either.
