After the weekend, Reese made her feelings very clear on Instagram. “I ain’t come here for nothing, I came with goals. But I know for sure I turned Miami back into your Super Bowl,” she wrote, admitting that she made the atmosphere at her Sephora Arena comeback game very tense.

With 13 points and eight rebounds in just over 10 minutes against Hive BC, she announced her return. The ceremonial nine points in her second game clinched a playoff spot.

WNBA fans were so excited to see Reese come back that they couldn’t stop talking about what she brings to Unrivaled before the playoffs start on February 28.

Fans celebrate Angel Reese’s electrifying Unrivaled comeback

Fans who saw Reese dominate in Miami showed their support on Instagram after Reese posted. Fans were both happy to see her back on the court and excited about what her return means for Rose BC’s championship defense going into the playoffs.

“You’ve been missed,” one fan said, talking about how much they missed Reese during the first half of Unrivaled’s season. The move came after Aari McDonald was ruled out for the season and involved multiple teams. Breeze BC acquired point guard Courtney Williams from Vinyl BC, Vinyl BC received guard Saniya Rivers from Hive BC, and forward Azurá Stevens moved from Rose BC to Hive BC.

Another person said, “Proud of you always,” recognizing that Reese has been consistent across many platforms even though she has a busy schedule.

In addition to averaging 14.7 points and 12.6 rebounds per game during the WNBA season, Reese had a busy offseason, representing the league on stages it had never reached before, which reportedly kept her from returning to Unrivaled for season 2. Now, she’s gearing up for the Unrivaled playoffs and her debut with the U.S. senior national team as well.

Reese, along with other rising stars like Caitlin Clark, Paige Bueckers, Aliyah Boston, and more, has been selected for Team USA for the FIBA Women’s World Cup Qualifying Tournament, set to take place from March 11 to 17 in Puerto Rico.

“The energy was ELECTRIC!” “Welcome Home,” another response said, praising the electric atmosphere Reese created at Sephora Arena.

Reese has always been closely tied to Unrivaled, speaking highly of the league and treating it as a place she loves. Even in her return, she made her feelings clear, as after a shot, she yelled, “I’m f***ing home,” showing just how much the league means to her.

Plus, beyond her stats and what she does on the court, it’s Reese’s influence and fan following that have made her one of Unrivaled’s biggest attractions. Her arrival gave Rose BC a boost, but the league as a whole benefited from Reese’s popularity, with viewers tuning in just to watch her play. No doubt, with the playoffs just around the corner, her presence is shaping up to be a huge deal.

A user wrote “Caption!” which was just a way of agreeing with Reese’s bold Instagram post about making Miami the Super Bowl. “My favorite is back!!!” was another reaction that showed how much fans love Reese’s style of play.

As we already said, Rose BC and the league couldn’t have asked for a better time for Reese to come back. Fans loved her on-court energy, and that will supercharge the team as it pursues a second title.
