Angel Reese might have had an abrupt ending to her season, but she’s making sure her offseason ends well. Despite the Chicago Sky failing to secure a playoff berth, Reese has been fully embracing vacation vibes. Previously, she was spotted cheering for her hometown NFL team, and now she’s making waves in Chicago at a stadium event.

On October 9th, the Bayou Barbie uploaded a story in which she shared the stage with rapper Nick Cannon. In a sparkling grey bodycon dress paired with brown boots and her hair flowing freely, Reese looked nothing short of spectacular. To add more excitement, she even started rapping to battle it out with Cannon, and it was definitely a mic-drop moment.

“YOU KNOW I LOOK GOOD YOU WANNA CLIMB THIS TREE BUT YOU CAN’T GET ME PREGNANT THIS SH*T AIN’T CHEAP,” she quipped. Looks like Reese has picked up some skills from appearing in a music video. “Chi-town Barbie” has always been part of concerts here and there.

Her interest in music became more apparent last June when she was featured in a music video with Cardi B and Latto. “This is a different kind of route for me, like I had never—I always said I wanted to be like a video vixen. I don’t know why I always said that,” she told her friend and rapper Latto on her podcast.

She was being honest—this was a dream come true for her, as one of her favorite artists offered her this golden opportunity. That experience may have inspired her impressive rapping performance on stage.

Angel Reese is enjoying every bit of her offseason

Ever since Reese suffered a hairline fracture on her left wrist, Angel Reese has been finding ways to live life to the fullest. At first, she was seen cheering for her teammates during the remaining few games for the Chicago Sky. Then, she was busy spending time with her friends, and posting pictures frequently.

Recently, she attended three professional football games. Three weeks ago, she was spotted at the San Francisco 49ers vs. Los Angeles Rams game in LA, and two weeks ago, she attended her hometown team Baltimore Ravens’ game against the Buffalo Bills, where she was praised by Ravens defender Marlon Humphrey.

This past Sunday, Reese supported her new home city, cheering at the Carolina Panthers vs. Chicago Bears game. Impressive, right? It’s been six weeks since her injury, and now her hard cast is off. “Well, it ain’t missing, it’s removed. My hand brace is finally off. The hiding my brace with my bags era is officially over,” Reese posted on X. Now, she’s eagerly awaiting her debut in the new Unrivaled League in January.
