Caitlin Clark on the court has one personality: “I’m really fiery and I want to kill.” She’s been at it since she was in middle school– receiving yellow cards, taking sole initiative, and giving the refs two cents. But that’s hardly the image she goes by when the jersey’s off. Apart from channeling the goofiness, believe it or not, the basketball prodigy claims to have skills good enough to make her last off the hardwood, and Aliyah Boston is giving a glimpse into it.

The Indiana Fever’s close-knit locker room has been one highlight of their season. Whether it’s Sophie Cunningham and Lexie Hull accepting their ‘twin’ tag, the wild celebrations after the Commissioner’s Cup, or CC refusing to let Napheesa Collier have Boston and Kelsey Mitchell for All-Star– despite the ups and downs, the atmosphere has remained positive. And that doesn’t come if on-court-Clark spilled into the locker room. The Fever forward’s answer made sure we knew of that.

During her appearance on the Post Moves podcast with Candace Parker, Boston was asked about something that most people don’t know about Caitlin Clark. “She’s hilarious,” the 2023 ROTY answered. That has been largely evident in the past week. As she took on the coaching hat for the All-Star game, the 23-year-old really let loose. While she once lost track of the score, she booed her own teammates the next. And when asked what her halftime break would be used for? Just listen to Glroilla and get a drink (Gatorade, as she claims). 

She’d make that clear on Sue Bird’s podcast, too. “People don’t realize how goofy I actually am… Every moment that’s not that, it’s not serious. I have fun and I have a good time,” she had revealed. And Clark has an idea of her good time, too. Boston wants a piece of it, quite literally.

The forward had more to her answer than just admitting her teammate was hilarious. “She bakes cookies, and you guys should actually find her and tell her why she hasn’t baked us any cookies yet, okay? She loves baking cookies,” Boston shared on the podcast. Now that’s a turnaround we were expecting.

Back in May, during a Sports Illustrated feature, Clark asked her teammates what they believed she would be doing had it not been for basketball. They did not get it right. “So the answer I was looking for was a chef,” CC revealed. Cookies, warm fudge brownie, spicy vodka sauce, and broccoli beef were just some of the things she named. Yeah, they found it hard to believe, too. Boston even hilariously questioned, “And what seasonings did you use?”

But looks like they are all on board now. And sure the 23-year-old can them some cookies when she can go on beast mode for them on the court.

Caitlin Clark’s sophomore year in the WNBA has not gone to plan. With constant injuries to rare shooting slumps, the first half of the 2025 WNBA season has been full of frustration for both her and the Indiana Fever fans. However, despite personal struggles, she has continued to provide unconditional support to her teammates. 

We aren’t just talking about facing the refs from the sidelines, we are also talking about loud cheers. When the Indiana Fever won the Commissioner’s Cup, she was the one leading the celebrations. Even used the trophy to share drinks among her teammates. Then when her injury news sidelining her for the All-Star broke, she did not fail to show up. 

As Lexie Hull replace her for the 3-point contest, Clark proudly held up the No. 10 jersey alongside Cunningham. She’d also hype the entire arena when her teammate was being introduced. And yes, the Hawkeyes aren’t losing out on her support either. Recently, she sent the whole team her new personalized Nike Kobe 5s. 

No matter what’s going on in CC’s individual career, she is always available to support her teammates. That’s the primary reason for the Indiana Fever locker room’s continued positive vibes.
