“I think overall my game has improved. I think Unrivaled helped me just with my pace guard, just being able to guard people with just more space on the floor than it is in the W. So that’s definitely important for me, and just continuing to try different stuff to expand my game,” said Boston as she reassessed her game.

Unrivaled’s unconventional format has opened new doors for players like. Aliyah Boston. With fewer players on the floor, the pace is quicker, the spacing is wider, and the action is built for constant involvement, all while keeping the competitive edge intact, giving her the freedom to expand her game without being boxed into rigid roles.

For Boston, that freedom has been transformative. Once accustomed to operating around set spots on the floor, she now moves fluidly up and down the court, attacking space and dictating play. The added autonomy has allowed her instincts to shine, and the results are showing every night.

Aliyah Boston is finding shots way more easily and has already gone past her WNBA (15.0 PPG), thanks to the frequent role changes. Her defensive adroitness, too, has gone up, and she is the 5th-ranked player in Unrivaled when it comes to grabbing rebounds (8.7 RPG) and 2nd-ranked in blocks (1.8).

The fact that Aliyah is able to equally dabble around both formats of the game and to do so without breaking a sweat speaks volumes about her talent, and this talent is exactly why she has a very good possibility of joining her club teammate to discharge her national duties.

Boston likely to join Fever teammate Caitlin Clark for Team USA

Having already represented the national team in the junior categories, now Aliyah Boston seems very much on course to make an impact on the senior circuit. But she won’t be alone, as there will be a very familiar face joining her.

Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston’s rapport both on and off the hardwood has always been infectious, and that was already discernible when Aliyah made a warm post to wish her comrade on her birthday a few days back.

“My sissttaaaa.. happy birthday queen, I love you so much!!! Have the best day everrr..,” Aliyah Boston said, wishing Clark with a montage of their pics together, and now we have a great possibility of seeing these two together yet again, representing the USA.

Both Clark and Boston were a part of the USA Basketball training camp that took place in December, and could very well be a part of the upcoming FIBA Basketball World Cup in September.
