Noah Lyles has been on a roll this year, with repeated victories and undisputed triumphs in every race he enters. The 26-year-old has been working hard to shatter the Usain Bolt horcrux and become the fastest man of all time. Lyles also got into a feud with the NBA recently and was joined by his first cross-sports ally, Giannis Antetokounmpo. Now, the sub-20 clocker got blessed with another buddy from a different sport, who invited Lyles on his podcast. Brandon Marshall, the $18,000,000 worth former NFL prodigy, invited Lyles for some fun, raw, and real conversation.?

The former wide receiver had invited Lyles for his ?I AM ATHLETE? podcast. The duo discussed several topics like mental health and fashion in sports among many others. By the end of the episode, Marshall did something completely unexpected and gave a parting gift to Lyles. Marshall took off the chain he was wearing and said he was giving it away to Lyles because he?s his favorite. He asked Lyles? girlfriend, Junelle Bromfield, to put it around Lyles? neck, as the speedster blushed with joy.?

I’m beyond honored.??Lyles said that this was completely unbelievable for him, as he just gave away one of his chains to Bromfield in the morning. Lyles said,??I usually don’t like to give away my chains, but she wanted it. I was like, ?You know what? she can have it.? That was so crazy.??While Lyles doesn?t like to give away his chains, he does like selling merch to his fans. In fact, he recently released the ?Noah Lyles World Championship Hat,? and inflicted a fresh wound on the NBA.

The ?world champion? debate between the NBA and Lyles took a fresh turn when Team USA lost the FIBA World Cup. Lyles was just getting the support of other track athletes initially. However, even World Athletics supported him with a meme after the dramatic loss of USA Basketball. Seeing fertile ground, even Noah Lyles jumped in with another mocking jibe at the NBA.?
