Which of Leon Marchand’s performances were left out?

Bob Bowman’s star disciple left fans in awe after setting several new records in Indianapolis over the last weekend. Marchand took home gold medals in both the 200m breaststroke and 500 free events, while also breaking the existing NCAA and US Open records along the way. Titled “2024 NCAA DI men’s swimming & diving championship“, the video basks in the glory of many events like Marchand’s 200 breast as well as the Sun Devils’ thrilling display of skills in the 400 free relay race. However, Leon’s 500 free or his impeccable swim in the 800 free relay have both been left out. The ASU team finished second in the 200 medley relay, which the YouTube video contains, as well as his first-place finisher in the 400 IM.

And yet, Marchand’s performance in the 400 medley relay, which recorded his fastest split ever, has been mysteriously left out. While the Frenchman didn’t hold back at the NCAA Championships, seeing him overlooked in such a manner has the fans flummoxed.

Fans vent their disapproval

After the video was uploaded on YouTube, fans across social media couldn’t believe their eyes as they couldn’t find Marchand’s jaw-dropping performances in it. George Young thinks this is precisely what hinders the NCAA from developing a meaningful relationship with the fans. “Difficult to grow fan interaction when the sponsoring organization (yes, you @NCAA) can’t figure it out.“, reads his comment.

Another fan seems to be fuming with the omissions and lashed out saying:
