When the football legend was asked about his favorite sports record, he found himself in a tough place. Trying to find the right expression, he quoted, “It’s like asking me what my favorite meal at dinner time is.” Being from the field of sports, Tom is well aware that there are various moments that mean something special for different sports.

The legend continued further and spoke about Cal Ripken’s record. While talking about Olympic records, he quotes the name of the swimming GOAT. Drawing references from four different sports and speaking about four maestros, Brady makes it clear that “to choose one is tough.” However, smitten by Bolt’s terrific performance, he could not resist commenting, “Usain Bolt is pretty amazing!”

Michael Phelps is on his way to another record 

Tom Brady has a valid point; choosing one record over the other is tricky. Amidst all the discussion over records, there is no record that Phelps’ fears can be broken anytime soon. For the unversed, Phelps is holding a world record in the 400m individual medley since 2002.

Lowering his own record eight times. As of now, nobody has swum within a second of it until this past June. Leon Marchand, the 20-year-old pupil of Phelps’ coach Bob Bowman, was on the verge of breaking the record. But the young champ fell short by 44 hundredths seconds.

However, Phelps would be keeping his fingers crossed and hoping that he breaks his record only the next year. If such is the case, Phelps will make another world record by holding the record in individual swimming for the longest duration since World War II.
