A debate took the fuel in the gymnastic battle between Brigham Young University and Boise State University this month when the error-filled judgments gifted the BYU pack tickets for the next round. It was again on the plate during the semifinal fight in Fayetteville a few days back. There Chae Campbell, the UCLA standout, gathered sympathy from the gymnastic fans.

After her floor routine, the UCLA senior was handed a 9.900 by the judges. However, the enraged fans demanded a perfect ten for Campbell after witnessing her near-perfect mastery and guile on the floor. Furthermore, the 9.9 score irked many fans to think about possible errors in judgements that eventually kept Chae Campbell away from her probable last college gymnastic performance.

Now things have moved to the NCAA women’s gymnastics championship where fans complained about the error in the ongoing final. As the national final is proceeding ahead in Dickies Arena, the LSU Tigers keep gaining momentum against opponents including California, Florida and Utah.

However, many fans believe that the judges have already predetermined the momentum in favor of the Baton Rouge team. So as per their argument, the LSU Tigers might get many more such rewards as the game advances with time. So, in calling out the NCAA, one gymnastics fan questioned the reality of the contest. “…this sh*t is a joke” remained the utmost tone of flaunting vulnerability.

Soon, multiple voices joined the show. Whereas few remained skeptical regarding the nexus between the LSU Tigers and the NCAA judges, many voiced the complexities behind the NCAA gymnastics’ scoring system.

The NCAA women’s gymnastics is losing the ‘entertainment’ part

The glittery version of the LSU Tigers may lure many. The judges can be one of those lured bodies as the X-handle Hana thinks. The handle ridiculed LSU Tigers’ ‘over scoring’ in the floor exercise on the final and she thought the judges’ role behind it. By keeping things further, another fan registered a possible reason behind it.

According to Larry Pilgrim, it could be the presence of a ‘media darling’ that affected the judgment capability of the NCAA. As per the other fan, the mistake was deliberate.

As nuggetmommy conceded on X, the judges want the LSU Tigers to win the final match wholeheartedly.

But Marie Bell S accused the same judging technique of disrupting the Tigers’ uneven bars performance on Saturday.

Taking motivation from that. Rhonda Peters James showed her point of motion against the scoring system.

So as the match continues, the LSU Tigers can be seen gaining momentum. However, no one in the Dickies Arena displayed their argument on the alleged nexus between the LSU Tigers gymnastics camp and the NCAA judges. So the authority is not so prepared to counter such queries.
