In her recent IG story, Simone Biles has shared a snap of her taking a sip of a drink with her husband, Jonathan. The caption of the story says, “on a date, kinda nervous.” Amid the stress and tension, a relaxing date night with their husband, Jonathan Owens, provided a much-needed emotional lift, helping her manage stress and stay razor-focused at the trials.

“All the work she’s been doing outside the gym, and just being 27, married, she has other stuff going on, and I think it helps her keep a good balance,” said Cecile Landi, on her most famous mentee, Simone Biles. Those statements define the two-way things- how Simone Biles has a grip on her gymnastic self and family life. Also, it proves that those two selves are thoroughly helping each other. And this date night only affirms that! Furthermore, Jonathan has reflected on his role as the perfect companion in this tale of life.

In the past, Jonathan proved that by attending her at the World Champions Center several times. Additionally, he remained one of the loudest cheering voices in both Core Hydration Classic and Xfinity US Gymnastics Championships, the contests Simone Biles participated in this season.

This year’s Core Hydration Classic remained one of the prized occasions, not only for gymnastic reasons but also for flaunting love between the wife and her husband. After missing Simone’s almost all competitions last season, JO didn’t want to extend the streak in 2024. So, he appeared in the XL Center along with Simone Biles’ family. Furthermore, the contest was the Olympian’s first gymnastic challenge this year. However, she didn’t let that factor overwhelm her on the mat, and for that, the NFL safety could get a credit. He did not lose his energy while cheering her up. Meanwhile, he noted down all the defining moments from Simone’s performance that bewildered him. Later, he crafted some beautiful lines.

It was the ode of a fan after watching his favorite gymnast performing in her full swing. But a husband’s responsibility promptly took over when he wrote, “I’m here with you every step of the way, wouldn’t miss it for the world”. In the Xfinity US Gymnastics Championships, things continued in a similar mood.

After watching Simone’s landing after performing the Yurchenko Double Pike, he erupted in joy. Subsequently, his celebratory message went, “My wife is the SH*T [fire emoji]”. And what was Simone Biles’ take from these activities from her husband?

Simone Biles acknowledges the beautiful part of her life

Initially, the XL Center overwhelmed Jonathan Owens as it was one of the first moments for him to witness a gymnastic pomp live. However, he soon fitted himself into the occasion and started to cherish the visuals. However, Simone Biles noticed him from the very beginning and shared eye-to-eye contact. The moment was romantic and motivational for her. Later, the four-time Olympic champion claimed a few things in a conversation.

She paid her gesture to Jonathan Owens for coming to the Core Hydration Classic. Without taking a pause, she argued, “I think this one was huge”. The reason for her comment was directed toward making Jonathan habituated to the shoutings and gravity-defying jumps in a gymnastic competition. Expectedly, JO enjoyed the moments and also cherished his role being the perfect cheering companion from the stand as well.

Proving those parts, he didn’t care about the weather emergency while reaching Fort Worth to attend Simone’s performance in the Xfinity US Gymnastics Championships. Now, as the pomp has shifted to Minneapolis, JO has come to the place. These things have consistently worked to make their relationship an epitome.
