Stephen Nedoroscik never imagined dancing in front of a camera with judges numbering his performance. For that matter, he never had an idea that his life would turn into that of a celebrity after the Paris Olympics. Trying to stick to his gymnastics basics, Nedoroscik was determined to lift his team out of the mess at the Olympics. Having witnessed the likes of Brody Malone failing, Nedoroscik stepped up his game to win his team the first Olympic medal in 16 years.
And this turned the tide for Nedoroscik. Winning 2 Olympic bronze medals made him an overnight sensation. But ‘The Pommel Horse Guy’ had more dreams to fulfill. Instead of hopping onto the Gold Over America Tour caravan, Nedoroscik decided to participate in Dancing With The Stars. And much to his luck, he got Rylee Arnold as his partner. Arnold has been a veteran of the show, having participated twice already. Thus, she was quick to let Nediroscik know about the tips and tricks of the show.
Coming off a scathing controversy from last season, Arnold too found a breath of fresh air in Nedoroscik. Together, they notched up some memorable performances that started with Queen’s ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’. Next up, the duo kept upping the ante with a Superman-themed paso doble and a tribute to the USA men’s gymnastics team. But that was not all; their Halloween performance, coupled with their semi-final dance, impressed the judges and audiences alike. And now, both Rylee Arnold and Stephen Nedoroscik find themselves in the finals. And when it was the finals, Arnold had to do something special.

Taking to her Instagram account, Arnold shared glimpses of their latest routine. While she can be seen instructing the entire team, this was a special moment for Nedoroscik’s dancing partner. This was the very first time that Rylee Arnold had choreographed an entire freestyle dance routine. Posting bits of the routine on her Instagram story, Arnold wrote, “POV YOU JUST CHOREOGRAPHED YOUR VERY FIRST FREESTYLE.”

Well, coming into the finals without any semi-final eliminations, Rylee Arnold will be wary. During their semi-final routine, a glass mishap nearly cost them their berth in the finals. Thus, without taking any chances, it is Arnold who is dictating the terms at the moment.

Rylee Arnold reflects on Nedoroscik’s spectacular mishap in the semis
Rylee Arnold and Stephen Nedoroscik almost got into a tangle following their DWTS semi-final routine. As the duo started with their dance, Nedoroscik’s glasses kept coming off, resulting in a huge problem. To make matters worse, during a move, Arnold’s hands brushed against the glasses that nearly knocked them. While Nedoroscik tried to fix them, the more experienced Arnold knew what to do. She immediately flicked the glasses off Nediroscik’s eyes and went on with the show.

Later while reflecting on the debacle, Arnold opened up to Access Hollywood about the spot. She said, “I saw them, and I was like, ‘They’re either going to be on the floor or I’m ripping them off of his face right now!’” She then went on to praise Nedoroscik for carrying on with the dance without flinching. Arnold mentioned, “Stephen, I’m so proud of you, you did not skip a beat,” Thus, complimenting each other, Rylee Arnold and Stephen Nedoroscik have made it this far in the DWTS. Now, it remains to be seen whether they can win the title or not.
