Mike Trout Once Called a Weather Channel Amidst a Snowstorm – Here’s What He Had to Say

With Major League Baseball still under the lockout, players have had to find other things to do. And amongst those, Mike Trout’s estranged hobby has recently been discovered. A fanatic of the weather, Mike Trout once called into his local weather station to speak about the snow build-up at his house.

In what the weatherman reported as his third most exciting moment in his reporting career, Trout called into the channel to give a personal report of the storm that he was in. Reporting from the DC Metro Area, it is likely that Trout was away from his Anaheim home and in colder quarters when this presumably occurred. Trout calls into the station and shares a couple of minutes of his time discussing with the forecaster about the weather in his area.

Speaking about the snow build-up at the time, Trout contributes, “It’s probably about a foot.”
Recently, Trout even tweeted out a short clip himself of all the snow he could see from his house.

And speaking of his sheer commitment to keeping track of the weather, Trout mentions that he was “up all night to just keeping track of the storm and keeping measurements.”
Thankfully, the baseball star mentioned that he had not been facing any problems with the power and was keeping warm. Contributing just as a final comment, “You know I love it, I love the weather! This is awesome,” said Trout.

Mike Trout is the center fielder for the Los Angeles Angels. And having spent a majority of the 2021 season out injured after going out in July, he will be raring to go in 2022.
Hoping likely to form a tandem with 2021 AL MVP Shohei Ohtani, the Angels look formidable. And undoubtedly, having the center fielder back at Anaheim will certainly do wonders for their chances at a pennant and possibly even a World Series.
