Other fans also gave interesting reactions to rumors of ice hockey player Patrick Kane’s trade from the Chicago Blackhawks to the New York Rangers. 

While some fans were doubtful whether this trade would happen, others were frustrated since the news repeatedly made rounds on the Internet. With the NHL 2023 trade’s March 3 deadline getting closer, these trade rumors gained more importance. The recent trade of the Chicago Blackhawks linemate, Artemi Panerin, to the Columbus Blue Jackets, also created a perception that Kane could get traded next. A Twitter post by ‘Rear Admiral’ who is the co-founder and the co-host of the Spittin Chiclets podcast also strengthened these rumors. A recent Twitter post by Rear Admiral states, “Patrick Kane will be a New York Ranger tomorrow.”  This post was shared on 28th February 2023 on Twitter. 

Before this, Hockey Feed had also shared the news of Patrick Kane’s trade on 26th February 2023. Reacting to these reports on Hockey Feed’s Facebook page, fans gave surprising and entertaining reactions.

Fans give a strong response to Patrick Kane’s Trade Rumors and a weird twist to the trade saga 

A fan commented, “I bet he doesn’t get traded at all. Chicago will want to much return.”  Afterwards, another fan suggested, “Hawks should just keep him.” Later, another fan made a surprising comment.  “He must have begged for this the way he was crying about New York last week.”  Echoing a similar opinion, another fan wrote, “The respect level for the dude is out of the window with his crybaby antics.”  Evidently, many fans are not happy with Kane. 

Post this, some fans implied how this news has become old now. A fan responded, “I think everybody has lost interest. They have been saying this for a week..” Another fan also expressed irritation at how this news was leaked. “Sick of how these trades are Pre leaked!” An aspect that gives these rumors importance is the fact that Kane has been told to sit out of the recent game against the San Jose Sharks.
