It’s the 2nd day of 2024 and just a few hours until the LSU Tigers gymnastics squad steps into the first head-on competition. From mid 2023, the most decorated gymnast of the LSU, Olivia Dunne, has kept her fans hooked to her gym routines. She, who has amassed an enormous number of followers through her social media sensationalism, is taking off her 2024 journey with her pre-eminent attribute.

At the age of 5, Livvy had recognized her interest in gymnastics after spotting a pink bedazzled leotard. Since then, her engagement with the sport has been surging. But the ‘beam’ queen has a past score to avenge. LSU didn’t perform as desired in the 2023 NCAA Championships. So, looking straight in the eye, Livvy is returning with a warning note this time.

Olivia Dunne has girded up stronger

As per her Instagram handle, the tension is evident. It’s not the joyous and bubbly Olivia Dunne anymore. It’s the tigress version of hers who takes her ‘business’ seriously. Captioning her Instagram post as “There is business to be stood on”, Livvy subtly asked her rivals to be cautious this time. On January 5, the LSU Tigers team will lock horns with the Ohio State University. It’s the first meet of the season. And unsurprisingly, the 21-year-old has a lot to prove on the gymnastic mat.

The picture she chose to pair with her caption was the perfect pick on account of the emotion she wanted to bring out. The first slide features Livvy fixing her hand grips. While in the second slide, she posted a bar still in an upright handstand posture. Though the highest paid NCAA athlete posts beam and uneven bars oftentimes, she doesn’t fail to stun on the floor as well.

Livvy graced the floor in the last season

Captioning her TikTok video as “meet season (soon)”, she took her fans on a walk down memory lane. Slaying in a black-and-purple leotard, the 21-year-old embarked on her floor journey with the strongest moves up her sleeves. Hair tied up in a messy ponytail, Olivia Dunne validated her prowess with backflips, mid-air maneuvers, and the perfect landing as a loyal Tigers athlete.
