Former US gymnast Mykayla Skinner’s new life isn’t short of amazing, but some struggles came along. The University of Utah alumni had once dominated the gymnastic world and won the vault silver medal in 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She retired in 2021 and started to focus on her personal life. On September 21, 2023, Jonas Harmer and his wife Skinner welcomed their baby daughter Charlotte, aka Lottie.

Right after Lottie’s birth, the mother-daughter duo had to take hospital visits. Later, partly ready to embark on a proper parental journey, the 26-year-old had said, ?Breastfeeding hurts so bad?. On top of it, father Harmer’s difficulty in handling the baby posed new problems every day. But according to a recent story, he is taking one step at a time to be a perfect dad.

Mykayla Skinner’s appreciation for husband

Skinner posted an Instagram story which brought out the father-daughter bond in a beautiful way. Captioning the story as “Jonas’s fav way to put her to sleep”, she adored the baby and her dad in a peaceful scenario. The video featured the star YouTube personality rocking the baby to sleep very technically. According to sources, parents have been adopting this method to calm their baby down.

Sounds like a win, right? Especially for the mom, who didn’t just have to mother Lottie but train her father too, it’s an accomplishment. Little Lottie, no matter how adorable she is, worried her mother when she ?cried so much?. Dealing with new mom’s woes can be hard and we can all use a little help, especially with the little ones.

Jonas struggled with baby blues

Besides complaining ?Gaaah She just shot poop out?, Harmer also failed to keep the baby quiet when mom went to the pharmacy. In an X (formerly twitter) video, Mykayla Skinner shared with disappointment, ?Jonas can?t handle when she cries. ?He called me like three times in a store freaking out when I went to get a medicine.??

Obstructing her flow, Jonas commented in between, ?I can handle for like two minutes. ?Cause you took forever, you went to get two things, and I was there for like half an hour with a screaming baby.? Surrendering to his strong wife, who leaves no stones unturned to keep the family happy, the 26-year-old YouTuber settled the matter with ‘anyway’.
