Celebrating the same with her parents Bill Gates and Melinda Gates, and her husband Nayel Nassar, Jennifer was over the moon. Nassar was ecstatic over his wife’s achievement, however, a recent event dampened his joy, which he shared in an Instagram post on May 19.

On his Instagram handle, Nassar disclosed the unfortunate news to his fans. The professional equestrian apologized to fans and revealed the misuse of his Instagram account. Aware of how the inappropriate use of his personal information could damage his reputation, Nassar expressed his worry. He also gave his fans a friendly warning during this difficult time he was facing as a sense of awareness.

Disappointed by the event that took place, Nassar took to his Instagram Story, and expressed, “Sorry everyone, my account was hacked today. Please don’t respond to any messages (or take any financial advice) from this account.” This shows how the professional equestrian was tensed about his 152,000 followers on Instagram and could be negatively impacted by this hack.

Clearly distraught at this news, Nassar didn’t elaborate on how his account was hacked. The equestrian also did not mention how he realized that his account was hacked, but, however, was drastically taken aback by it.

The Egyptian rider wasn’t the only celebrity whose account got hacked. Earlier, his father-in-law Bill Gates’s social media account also got hacked along with more than 100 celebrities. Responding to this breach, authorities immediately suspended the hacked accounts till they took steps to enhance security measures. This scam took place in the year 2020. A man named Joseph James O’Connor illegally accessed Bill Gates, Barack Obama, and multiple celebrities’ Twitter accounts before. O’Connor then made attractive offers to the followers of various celebrities to get payments in Bitcoins, promising to double their amount. This helped the hacker earn more than $90, 000.

Connor partnered with Graham Ivan Clark, a 17-year-old from Florida to execute this scheme. Apprehended by the authorities after this act, the 23-year-old was given a sentence of 77 years in prison. Clark, who was a juvenile at the time he was charged received a sentence of 3 years in prison, post which he would be under probation for 3 months.
