Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s passion for fitness and weightlifting began in his teenage years and continues to stay strong even after all these years. By the time he was 16, the Austrian Oak was already winning bodybuilding shows. As a lifelong fitness enthusiast, the seven-time Mr. Olympia is concerned about the grim state of the average American’s fitness levels. So, the bodybuilding champion has embarked on a crusade to make fitness more accessible for everyone, even if it means encouraging fans in a bizarre but unique way.

For the past week, Schwarzenegger has been encouraging fans on social media to reach their fitness goals. The Governator announced a new daily email newsletter called The Pump Daily on Christmas Eve. After fans began tweeting about signing up and receiving the daily newsletter on Twitter, Schwarzenegger started replying to their tweets as tokens of encouragement.

Arnold Schwarzenegger found a unique way to keep his fans hooked

Many fans welcomed the news hot off the press as they tagged their icon while glossing over their fitness goals and informing their fitness icon about their collective willingness to sign up for The Pump Daily. On January 6th, a Twitter user named Hugh tweeted about reading the daily newsletter, “I hope you know that when I (and probably most other recipients) read them, we do so in your voice! In my case, it’s a bad impersonation of your voice.”

However, Schwarzenegger didn’t seem to mind. “The worse the impersonation, the better,” the seven-time Mr. Olympia replied to the fan’s tweet. Schwarzenegger knows people like impersonating his thick Austrian accent and encouraged the fan to continue mimicking his voice. The former Mr. Olympia wants his fans to keep reading the newsletter and continue their fitness journey.
