The passion for bodybuilding can make a person go to any extent, pushing all the boundaries to give the best. While there were some who withdrew themselves due to some circumstances, there were some who stuck to the plan and showed up no matter what. Serbian bodybuilder Milos Sarcev fell into the latter category. He once faced a terrible injury during his prime, but decided to go on.

Recently, the 59-year-old IFBB pro appeared in an interview where he came up with a bizarre revelation. Evidently, the bodybuilder was bound to a contract to appear in an event in 2001 and he didn’t withdraw himself even after struggling with posing. Milos Sarcev was dedicated to bodybuilding

During his two decades of career, Sarcev won and participated in several events of the sport. Every time he stood in front of the audience, the Serbian pro marked his dominance with his beastly physique and well-conditioned body. He appeared in the Olympias, Grand Prixes, NOCs, and many other events. But there was a time when he faced a setback.

As per his latest interview on Muscle and Fitness, Sarcev met with a terrible shoulder injury weeks before taking part in the 2001 Night of Champions. While answering whether he had a surgery, the bodybuilder confirmed, “Yeah I had a shoulder surgery.”

Moreover, the legend further shared, “In eight weeks I supposed to compete and somebody from the office, came I remember and I was in a brace but I had to take it off and act like it’s okay.” In fact, he performed at the event and ended up in the 10th place.

As Sarcev recalled, he did all that simply because “I [he] didn’t want to lose the contract.” He further shared that it was a tough phase, as the bodybuilder had to attend every show in 1999. In addition, he also faced another setback when he tore his quad in 2002. Thus, it was indeed very important for the bodybuilder to show up, conquering all his odds.
