The beloved UFC commentator once invited Alexis Ohanian to his show. Without a doubt, the talks were expected to turn towards investment and cryptocurrency. However, Rogan did not foresee his guest asking about Kim Kardashian or Kanye West’s cryptocurrency.

Joe Rogan shut down Alexis Ohanian’s query

In 2014, Joe Rogan invited the Reddit co-founder and Serena Williams’ husband, Alexis Ohanian, to his podcast, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’. Being an active investor, Ohanian indeed turned the tables towards cryptocurrency. The two began talking about Bitcoin and Dogecoin. However, the internet entrepreneur got a lot more curious as he asked an absurd question.

Ohanian asked, “How’s the Kardashian coin doing? Wasn’t there a Kim Kardashian coin? Or was it Kanye coin?” However, the UFC commentator replied, “I don’t know how to talk about this on this podcast.” After that, the author of ‘Without Their Permission’ agreed not to talk about Kardashian. However, that didn’t stop him from saying that Kardashian was the pride of the Armenian people. Immediately, the duo broke into laughter.

Furthermore, Rogan made a comment about Kardashian saying, “You can’t deny that a**.” Ohanian, in fact, had no choice but to agree. Additionally, the podcaster said, “The whole thing is a mess, but hey, what are you gonna do! It’s part of what makes us fun. I think part of what makes people fun is our falling. I think we’re all beautiful and perfect and Dalai Lama-esk. Come on, man. Bunch of people wearing orange everywhere and no one is getting their d**k sucked. It would be ridiculous.” Moreover, he claimed that stupidity in people added extra fun.

Joe Rogan’s opinion of cryptocurrency

The 55 years old podcaster had a positive view of cryptocurrency. In JRE MMA Show, featuring Khalil Rountree, Rogan seemed to praise Bitcoin and considered it to be actually a form of currency. He said, “I think of Bitcoin the same way I think about the early internet. I think they didn’t see it coming, and now it’s a viable form of currency. You can actually buy things with it.”

Furthermore, the former Fear Factor host even believed that in the future, a centralized digital currency would arise, which will be under the direct control of the government. He related his statement to the early internet era when the Obama administration tried to censor it.
