The Handan native is the only East Asian and Chinese champion in the three-decade history of the UFC and has helped open doors for many mixed martial artists from the region. In October 2025, she vacated her strawweight title to chase history once again, this time by moving up to flyweight to face Valentina Shevchenko at UFC 322. And with a résumé that includes being ranked the No.1 strawweight in the world, and headlining blockbuster cards like UFC 300, the question writes itself: how much has all this success earned her?

Zhang Weili’s net worth and endorsements

Zhang Weili’s actual net worth is unknown. What we do have are estimates based on very limited information. Net worth, of course, is arrived at by calculating the difference between a person’s assets and liabilities. And since we do not have any real information about either of those, except for estimates of her UFC salaries and endorsement deals, it is really difficult to tell her net worth.

But except for her UFC earnings (which we will see more in-depth later), we do not know anything about what type of investments she has made, how many houses or cars she owns, or whether she has any loans to her name. However, various sources estimate Weili’s net worth to be between $2-4 million.

The only Chinese UFC champion, ‘Magnum’ is a pretty big star back home. Forbes, for example, ranked her the 27th most influential celebrity in China, which is not surprising given her achievements on the biggest, most prestigious combat sports stage in the world.

Weili’s star power, of course, has made her a very attractive commodity for brands. Unsurprisingly, the Chinese champion has a fair few endorsements that she gets paid to endorse. Most notably, global cosmetics powerhouse Estee Lauder made her the face of their makeup line, ‘Double Wear’ in 2020, where she joined the company Ana de Armas, Amanda Gorman, and Karlie Kloss as one of the company’s global brand ambassadors.

She is also the global ambassador for the recovery brand Hyperice and has an endorsement deal with sports apparel company Under Armor. ‘Magnum’ has appeared in a 2021 commercial for Audi, and also endorses the e-commerce website, JingDong.com. Now, let us take a look at what we know about how much she has earned as a UFC fighter.

Weili’s Biggest Fight Purses and PPV Bonuses

While we do not know exactly how much Zhang Weili has made in her UFC career, it is at least a few million dollars. For instance, she reportedly made over $2 million at UFC 300 alone since she co-headlined the marquee anniversary mega-card. In addition, since she is a champion, she must get the champ’s minimum of $500k for her fights.

Since she has gone into four UFC fights as champion so far, Weili has made a minimum of $2 million from those fights alone. This is not even factoring in the PPV cut that champions get, which in the case of UFC 300, was three times more than her base pay. All in all, it seems safe to say that Weili has made at least $4 million during her UFC stint, and the figure is likely to be higher than that.

How high? Well, based on everything we know, it is unlikely her UFC career earnings have exceeded $9 million, so it is safe to say that she has made between $4-9 million for her UFC fights. And with UFC 322 around the corner, where she challenges Valentina Shevchenko for the flyweight crown, her next purse could push her career earnings even higher!
