Meet Yulia Yan, Petr Yan’s wife
Yulia Yan, popularly recognized as the wife of UFC bantamweight contender Petr Yan, has been a constant source of support for her husband throughout his career. The couple prefers to keep the details of their relationship private, and as a result, not much is known about Yulia herself.
In fact, she keeps her social media accounts private, so there isn’t any source to extract any information on her either. However, based on what little is known about her, it is believed that Yulia Yan is currently in her late 20s or so. Information about her precise age, birthdate, and other aspects of her life remains unknown.
There isn’t much information available about Yulia Yan’s profession, but it is widely reported that she is a supportive and loving wife to Petr Yan. She often accompanies him to his fights and has been seen supporting him from the sidelines.

Although her profession remains a mystery, there is no denying that Yulia Yan’s support is integral to Yan’s continued success in the octagon.
Still, what we do know paints a picture of a loyal, grounded, and fiercely supportive partner. They have been together for years, having started out as childhood sweethearts since high school. Unfortunately, there is no information available online regarding the timeline of their marriage or dating life, as the couple prefers to keep their personal lives private.
Despite the lack of information about their personal lives, Petr Yan and Yulia Yan are widely known as one of the power couples in the MMA world. Photos of them smiling, traveling, and spending quality time are scattered across Petr’s Instagram, one of the few glimpses fans get into his personal life.
And while their relationship remains mostly private, the one thing they don’t shy away from sharing? Their love for family, especially when it comes to their children.
Petr & Yulia Yan’s kids
Petr Yan and Yulia Yan are proud parents of two children. Their first son, Daniil, was born in 2016. ‘Daniil’ means ‘God is my judge’ in Russian.
And like father, like son. Daniil has already started training alongside Petr. The UFC star has posted multiple clips on Instagram of him grappling and striking with his eldest, often showing the two bonding through martial arts.

In 2020, four years after the birth of Daniil, Petr Yan and Yulia Yan welcomed their second child, a son named Konstantin.
In fact, when the UFC star was preparing for his title defense at UFC 259, he found himself dealing with something tougher than the training: being away from his family. He was reportedly training in Florida while his family stayed in Yekaterinburg. As such, the only time he got to spend with them was through video calls, but a 10-hour time difference meant the calls had to be done before bedtime.
At the time, Yan shared in an interview with ESPN MMA, “Sometimes I try to wait until they wake up, so we can chat for a half hour, and then I can go to bed.”

Even Petru Grati, who was responsible for setting up the training camp, confessed, “It’s hard for him. He’s not telling you, but I see it when he’s talking to his wife on FaceTime. … I’m looking at his face. He’s missing them. He’s a family guy… He’s telling me, ‘My kids are going to grow up, and what are they going to remember? Me home or somewhere else?”
So, Petr Yan may fight alone in the Octagon, but his journey is anything but solo. Behind every jab and takedown stands Yulia, his anchor, his support, and his partner through thick and thin. As he gears up for his return against Marcus McGhee, one thing is certain: whatever happens under the bright lights of Abu Dhabi, his heart is always with the quiet, unseen strength waiting back home.
