Oliveira does everything for his family

Riding a four-fight winning streak, Vinicius Oliveira is arguably one of the best new-age bantamweight fighters. According to the fighter, his ambitions extended well beyond the caged walls of the Octagon. Apart from winning multiple belts from the Dana White-led promotion, Oliveira has one specific ambition, and that is to retire everyone close to him.

While having a conversation with the media, the Brazilian fighter emphasized that he wants to have financial stability, “My plans are all financial. We live in a capitalist system. Everything requires money. I want to make my family comfortable. I want to allow my parents to retire; and my in-laws. I’ve been with them since I was 17 or 18. They helped raise me. I want to give a good life to my wife, my daughter, my coaches, and whoever is by my side.”

Every day when I open the refrigerator, there’s something to eat. My bills are paid. I can help those who are by my side. I feel like a king, even though I know I still have far to go.”

Vinicius Oliveira has spent a meager two years under the promotion and, despite that, he has cemented his status as a fighter who should be feared. Regardless, what’s your take on ‘Lok-Dog’s career? State your thoughts in the comments below.
