What do you expect when you come across a UFC video on YouTube when the title has the word “knockouts” in it? Well, we’ll obviously imagine the video consisting of fighters who earned finishes with their striking skills. However, Dana White and Co. fumbled the bag recently on YouTube, and as expected, the fans took every swipe at his promotion for the mistake they made.

Dana White is entering the boxing realm once again. This time, he’s co-promoting the Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford superfight on Saturday. As such, the UFC yesterday posted an Embedded vlog series, featuring the aforementioned boxers for the first time, but fans did not appreciate that the MMA outfit was trying to promote another combat sport. And now, the promotion has turned off their fans once again after the YouTube mishap, as they posted a knockout montage from the Contender Series.

DWCS has been the entry point for many current UFC fighters, who made their way through there with excellent performances. As such, there have been some spectacular knockout wins on the show, but the recent video they uploaded on YouTube was a compilation from Episode 5 titled – “Every KNOCKOUT From Dana White’s Contender Series Episode 5!” However, the strange thing about the video is that the first fight on the list was a decision victory, which certainly isn’t a knockout. Then again, another fight in the video that has the word ‘knockout’ in the title showcased a submission.

Fans have a field day after Dana White & Co.’s mistake on YouTube

As we’ve already mentioned earlier, the first fight on the list was a weird one to start with since it was a decision victory. Most fans were ridiculing Dana White and his media team for that mistake, with a YouTube viewer hilariously commenting, “Nice knockout in the first fight.” That decision win kept drawing more and more hilarious reactions, as another fan commented, “Didn’t know a decision was considered a knock out.” With UFC being as big an organization as it is right now, fans were expecting its media team to at least double-check the video before uploading it on YouTube.

As such, some fans found it totally weird that Dana White and Co. would go ahead without being sure about the accuracy of the content in the video. “That first clip – you know the decision, was the strangest KNOCKOUT I have ever seen,” a surprised fan added. But the trolling did not stop there, as another viewer wrote, “Every ‘knockout’ starts off the list with a decision……. ?????”

It was then that the fans also brought up the addition of a submission win in the video, intended to show knockouts. “Decisions and submissions are KO’s now.” One fan appeared to step up to help the UFC fans and save their time by sharing the timestamp in the video for them to directly get to the knockouts, commenting, “No KO until 4:45 so skip ahead, youre welcome.” But is it really Dana White’s fault? No, but the fans demand that the person responsible for overseeing the posting of content should definitely be relieved of their services. “Fire whoever titled this video,” one of those fans added.

Well, mistakes happen, so it may not be that big of a deal. But given that UFC is a billion-dollar organization, do you think the fans are right when they’re calling them out for such fumbles? Let us know in the comments down below.
