The controversy surrounding Colby Covington‘s title shot announcement doesn’t seem to die off. The UFC president Dana White‘s declaration of putting ‘Chaos’ next in line for coveted UFC gold didn’t go down well with fans and fighters alike. While the champion Leon Edwards sought the justification for such an endowment, another UFC fighter joined the bandwagon and voiced his apprehensions. Notably, Gilbert Burns, who squares off against Jorge Masvidal at UFC 287, questioned the decision of the promotion. Further, the Brazilian specified his intent to put doubt in everyone’s mind as he proclaims to finish ‘Gamebred’, thus throwing his name in the mix for the title contender.
