Christmas couldn’t get more hilarious than this! We have all heard Daniel Cormier singing in the past. It all started with his ‘All About That Cake’, which extracted laughter from the fighting community at the 7th annual Fighters Only World MMA Awards. But DC singing Christmas carols was a whole other visual.

On Christmas Day, DC took to Instagram and shared a visual of him singing ‘O Holy Night’ during the UFC 310 Weigh-In Show that premiered on 6th December. The former heavyweight champ introduced his dog, Pip, and captioned, “Merry Christmas guys, one of the best parts of my Christmas is getting my new dog PIp! She is amazing and we all love her so much. I want to give a special shout out and thanks to my main man Sergio @worldstarbulldogs_. Have a very good day , another year in the books. DC” It was as if he waited 2 weeks to perfectly time his Christmas Day post. And boy did he succeed!

The welterweight contender Philip Rowe went ahead into the comments and dropped 3 laughing emojis along with a facepalm emoji. Soon, the famed MMA reporter Megan Olivi joined the fight fans and wrote, “We love little Pip! And obviously your glorious singing voice.” After all, it was the perfect Christmas present from Cormier. Belal Muhammad, Laura Sanko, and everyone present at the show had trouble suppressing their laughter.

Daniel Cormier leaves the netizens with an awkward but funny impression

Many fans wasted no time in giving Cormier a reality check. He was a great champion, no doubt about that. But singing might not be his cup of tea. One fan wrote, “DC is a great champion. Terrible singer.” But sarcasm seldom leaves the MMA realm! Another fan made a sarcastic comment that read, “Worldclass fighter, worldclass commentator, worldclass podcaster, and now a worldclass singer! Oh my!”

The playful act received some playfully hilarious reactions. One of them read, “The voice of an angel….. crashing towards the earth surface at 100 mph.” And another fan commented, “My paralyzed grandmother walked up and threw my phone from the window once she heard this. Thanks DC.” Meanwhile, some fans decided to make ‘O Holy Night’ by Cormier their Christmas tradition. A fan wrote, “I’m gonna play this every year from now on.”

What’s your perspective on:

Did Daniel Cormier just redefine Christmas carols, or should he stick to the octagon?

Have an interesting take?

It seemed like DC’s singing was enough to make a few netizens switch from celebrating Christmas to enjoying Hanukkah. A comment went, “I’m switching to Hanukkah.” Meanwhile, some of the fans managed to drag DC’s relationship with Khabib Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhachev into the discussion. A fan wrote, “Wait until khabib & Islam see this.”

Well, Cormier is famous for his humor. He leaves absolutely no chance to make a joke. Even his commentary during UFC events manages to squeeze in a couple of laughter bombs. But the way he kickstarted the UFC 310 Weigh-In Show was truly on another level. What are your thoughts on DC’s singing? Is there any funny act that you wish to see Cormier do?
