  • Merab Dvalishvili sent a final message to his dear friend Chris Sicat.
  • Sicat touched many lives within the world of combat sports.
  • But it had all started as a simple hobby for Sicat.

Growing up, Chris Sicat carried a lot of bottled-up aggression. But boxing became an outlet for that. It was a channel through which he could pour everything he couldn’t say out loud. At the time, Floyd Mayweather dominated the spotlight, and that pull drew Sicat into the world of combat sports. What began as an escape slowly turned into a journey, one that put him in rooms with some of the sport’s biggest names. Among them was former UFC bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili.

He was born in San Diego and raised in Las Vegas. He spent over two decades in the world of combat sports, but it all started as a hobby, which later turned him into a competitor. But coaching is where he did the most work.
