According to a report shared by the Pentagon, there were approximately 757 UFO sightings between May 2023 and June 2024, and the numbers seem to be increasing with each passing day. In that light, should the POTUS be worried about the increasing instances of this phenomenon? According to a guest on UFC commentator Joe Rogan’s podcast, Donald Trump should prepare for something monumental. Who was the guest and what did he say about the increasing number of UFO sightings? Let’s find out in today’s segment of MMA Roundup.
From all the UFO talks, we will move on to former lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez who made some statements about Conor McGregor’s fate within the UFC. Finally, we will conclude our segment with a confession from Michael Chandler. So, without any further ado, let’s get started.

James Fox explained UFO challenges of the 47th POTUS to Joe Rogan
Among the many challenges Donald Trump may face in his second term as US President, some may come from outer space. According to UFO investigator and documentary filmmaker, James Fox the POTUS should stay wary of the increasing number of UFO reports in the United States. While having a conversation with Joe Rogan on ‘JRE #2246,” Rogan emphasized that Donald Trump didn’t delve deep into UFO sightings when he appeared on JRE and that his knowledge might be quite negligent when it comes to topics about UFOs.

“When I confronted Mr. Trump [about UFO sightings] he was very cagey. Very cagey. [Quoting and imitating Trump] ‘I’ve seen some things. They’ve [the investigating authorities] told me some things. He didn’t tell me s**t’,” said Rogan while stating that Trump is not entirely pessimistic about the issue.
Fox chimed in, stating that the military is suppressing a lot of information about UFOs. In addition to that, he also emphasized that Donald Trump should focus on tracing the origin of the UFOs flying over US critical infrastructure, “We got objects of unknown origin flying over residential areas, flying over military bases flying over nuclear silos. That’s a matter of National Security.” With over 700 actual reported cases, it would be a bit difficult for POTUS to trace each one of them but this phenomenon is something worth investigating. From UFOs, let’s move to the UFC, where former promotional lightweight Eddie Alvarez gave his two cents about a past opponent who beat him to become a dual-weight champion.
Conor McGregor might never leave the UFC according to Eddie Alvarez
In one of his statements, Conor McGregor emphasized that before retiring from combat sports, he would compete once under the BKFC banner and this desire of his has been doubted by his former opponent, Eddie Alvarez. The former lightweight champion emphasized that the UFC might not let McGregor fight under the BKFC banner considering that they have invested too much in him as an employee of the premier MMA promotion of the world. While having a conversation with the media, Alvarez added, “Realistically, I think he still has two fights left on his UFC contract.”
What’s your perspective on:
Are UFOs a real threat, or just another distraction for Trump in his second term?

He added, “I just know how difficult it is, especially when you’re that valuable to a company. I haven’t been as valuable as Conor, but back when I was basically Bellator’s main guy, I know how difficult it is to get out of those contracts. They don’t make it easy.” Despite not sharing the same star-power, there’s no reason why the UFC should treat their most valuable asset any differently from how Alvarez was treated in Bellator, especially considering what a cash cow he is.

For him, making the company hundreds of millions of dollars, I don’t think it’s going to be an easy exit. I think he still has two more fights with the UFC, and I’m not sure how old Conor is, but he’s not getting any younger. So it’s going to be tough for him to fight those fights out and move on to another contract. So realistically, I don’t know if he could fight BKFC, and if he does, it’ll be maybe when he’s older.”
As of now, the former dual weight champion has announced that he will face Logan Paul in India but no official confirmation has been made as of yet. Next, we’ll move on to more news about Conor McGregor, but this time with an opponent he hasn’t yet faced inside the Octagon.

While having a conversation with the media, ‘Iron’ Mike added, “If Conor doesn’t come back in the first half of 2025, I will be fighting someone else. There are other fights I’m interested in. I didn’t fight for two years but that wasn’t all waiting, I wanted to take some time and give my body a break after my first five fights in the promotion which included a title fight, and fight of the nights, and the fight of the year. My body needed a little bit of a break and I was happy to [do so]. Part of me was hanging onto this Conor thing but also; kind of, a little bit of gamesmanship, enjoying the time off, letting my body heal up a little bit.”
