Conor McGregor adds a controversial statement at Donald Trump’s ceremony
Jake Paul, Logan Paul, Theo Von, Elon Musk, Jon Jones, Mike Tyson, and Dana White, were among the many who were invited to the 47th Presidential swearing-in ceremony. They all came forward to witness Donald Trump take oath as the 47th President of the United States. Conor McGregor not only shared a moment of camaraderie with the Paul brothers but also spent some quality time with his old friend Jon Jones.

However, his recent antic might be a little concerning, the former UFC champ took to his Instagram handle to add a post of a very old photograph and captioned it as, “Secure the Borders. Full Stop.” His statements reflect a deeper sentiment that may explain exactly why ‘The Notorious’ is considering a career in politics. Conor McGregor has always been critical of relaxed immigration policies and pushed for stricter immigration rules following the 2023 Dublin riots.
Upon assuming the office, Trump wasted no time in declaring a national emergency at the Southern borders. As Trump is taking action on illegal migrants, let us shift our focus to Team Khabib, particularly their head coach who had words of praise for bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili.

Javier Mendez has a word of appreciation for Merab Dvalishvili
Merab Dvalishvili finally breached the ‘Dagestani Wall’, defeating Umar Nurmagomedov in dominating fashion at UFC 311. The anticipation for the fight was nothing short of a volcanic eruption. Both fighters traded barbs leading up to the clash, and when it was time to step into the Octagon, they gave their absolute best. However, in the end, ‘The Machine’ invoked his third lung to win the match by way of a unanimous decision.
Taking Umar Nurmagomedov’s ‘O’ right in front of Team Khabib was impressive, and Javier Mendez praised Dvalishvili’s otherworldly cardio. While having a conversation with the media, the AKA coach asserted, “Unbelievable cardio that I’ve never ever seen in my life,” said Mendez.

He further added, “I have never seen someone have that kind of cardio, take shots the way he did, and keep getting stronger as the rounds went on. I’m like, what am I looking at?” Dvalishvili not only retained his title but made the Nurmagomedovs look human, showing that they could be defeated with sheer pressure. Regardless, from bantamweight, let’s move up several divisions to middleweight, to our last segment about Sean Strickland and Dricus Du Plessis.

While having a conversation with the media, Strickland said, “‘Listen Dutchman, I’m going to need you to be a fu–ing man and I’m gonna need you to stand up, not go to your knees, and we’re gonna need to fu–ing strike like men. I know you like to wrestle, and you like to fu—ing choke people out and do some gay sh-t, dude but I’ll make a pact with you. You make a pact with me that we fu–ing stand up like fu–ing men and we settle this sh-t like men.” You can be rest assured (and it can safely be assumed) that ‘DDP’ will not oblige Strickland’s requests, given this is an MMA fight and – why should he?
Their UFC 312 clash is scheduled to take place at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia. Sean Strickland is locked in to reclaim his belt which was snatched by Dricus Du Plessis almost exactly a year ago at UFC 297. Who do you think will emerge victorious in the rematch?
