Security stops a man from allegedly attacking Conor McGregor
The 2025 seems to have resulted in a few altercations for Conor McGregor, as he can’t avoid finding himself in controversial situations. After spitting at a fan for yelling his arch-rival Khabib Nurmagomedov’s name, he almost got into an altercation with another fan. But this time, the fan might have had bad intentions as ‘The Notorious’ entered the Dubai Tennis Stadium for BKFC 71. It was indeed a big day for the bare-knuckle outfit as they made their debut in the Middle Eastern market, but McGregor found himself getting charged at by a man while he was signing autographs for fans in attendance.
Thankfully, McGregor’s security held back the man who intended to attack him. In fact, it was one of the security guys who decided to throw a few punches at the unidentified attacker, while the PPV event proceeded as planned. Well, things could have gotten worse for Conor McGregor, but it didn’t, and he remained safe and unharmed. He didn’t try to get physical but got a glimpse of who the man was, as the security kicked the attacker out of the arena.

Michael Chandler takes aim at Paddy Pimblett
It’s common knowledge among MMA fans that Paddy Pimblett doesn’t need to work too hard to gain weight when he’s out of training camps. He just loves food! But his weight has given him some struggles, and he’s been pretty open about it as he claimed that he battles “genuine eating disorder” when the time comes for training camps. However, Michael Chandler decided that Pimblett’s weight issue is something to be touched upon and take a jibe at.
The former UFC title contender posted an edited version of the ‘Fat Boo Boo Dog’, and guess what? He replaced the two dogs’ faces with his and Paddy Pimblett’s but gave the fat dog to the Liverpudlian. “Y’all are mean. Paddy has cleaned up his diet and doesn’t get as fat a Boo Boo anymore. See you at,” Chandler wrote on X.

Rashad Evans’ fight against Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson is canceled due to contract issues
Two of the best light heavyweights ever—Rashad Evans and Quinton Jackson—were set to butt heads for a second time. First, it was at UFC 114, and this time, it was supposed to take place inside a boxing ring at the main event of ICS Mania 1, and that too, next weekend. However, it seems like Evans had some issues with the contract offered to him, leading him to explain his decision to opt out of the fight in an Instagram post.
“I’m disappointed to announce the fight between [‘Rampage’ Jackson] will NOT take place April 12th in Albuquerque at the PIT,” Rashad Evans wrote. “There were contractual obligations not met, so we had to make this difficult decision to pull the fight. However, we do remain hopeful that this fight can happen at a later date.” The former UFC champion further issued an apology to the fans, who were eager to see these legends square off, given that it’s kind of a last-minute pullout.
