UFC 313 witnessed a setback right from the beginning with fights falling out of place because of medical emergencies. Well, the card is now down to just 10 fights. Unforeseen health issues forced John Castaneda out of his featherweight bout against Chris Gutierrez in the early prelims. On top of that, Curtis Blaydes was also forced out of the heavyweight preliminary bout against Rizvan Kuniev. This not only caused UFC 313 to lose two fights, but also delayed the action inside the Octagon by an hour. Despite that, Joe Rogan seemed to be in complete support of Dana White’s event.
Taking to Instagram, the famed UFC color commentator shared a picture of the poster of UFC 313. Of course, it was the poster of the event that graced the walls of the venue, T-Mobile Arena. In the caption, the 57-year-old podcaster and MMA commentator wrote, “LFG.” Needless to say, the excitement that Rogan showed was right on point. Even though two fights fell out at the last moment, with no one else to fill those spots, the main event with Alex Pereira vs. Magomed Ankalaev and the co-main event with Justin Gaethje vs. Rafael Fiziev still kept the fighting community’s entropy high.
So where does that leave UFC 313? Now, there was only one fight in the early preliminary card. And that was between Djorden Santos and Ozzy Diaz. The fight games began at 7:30 pm ET, or 12:30 am GMT. Nevertheless, the hype was still high. And with Rogan standing in support of the UFC head honcho to promote UFC 313, things were destined to proceed with high energy, don’t you agree?

Dana White and Joe Rogan shared loyalty even before UFC 313
In order to protect Rogan, White once lashed out at the haters on Lex Fridman’s podcast back in 2022. Well, that was a time when the podcaster said a word that apparently he shouldn’t have. This led the cancel culture to follow him up close. But White wasn’t ready to lay people off anytime soon. He gave the example of the harsh COVID period when people were forced to lay off their employees. But it wasn’t the case with UFC. Why would White let people who have been with him for about 20 years go?
The UFC head honcho said, “I can’t say what’s going to happen when I leave. But when I’m here, the people who are with me and have been with me, they know exactly what’s up. Joe knows what’s up, and again it’s a two-way street. Joe Rogan has been very loyal to me, and I am very loyal to Joe Rogan.”
