Tech billionaire Elon Musk has frequently raised concerns about corruption, from the mismanagement of government funds to the influence of the Deep State. In a recent appearance on Joe Rogan’s The Joe Rogan Experience (#2281), Musk delved into the topic of insider trading, among other pressing issues. However, he hinted that revealing everything he knows could put his own well-being at risk.
Insider trading—an illegal practice—creates an unfair advantage for those with privileged access to non-public information, significantly impacting stock markets and investor confidence. During his conversation with the UFC commentator, Musk suggested that such activities are not only widespread but also easily traceable for those who know where to look.
“The insider trading stuff, like the stock portfolio stuff is quite trackable. And it’s a lot more than insider trading,” said Elon Musk. Joe Rogan went to inquire and ask, “The way they’re acquiring wealth?” And the world’s richest person replied in the affirmative by saying, “Correct.” But when Rogan wanted to learn about the “methods” through which these operations, Musk decided to take a deep breath and explain to Rogan that he was putting himself in the firing line by spilling all the beans.

This left Joe Rogan lost for words, after which he tried to lighten up the mood a little. “I’m not lengthening my life span by explaining this stuff, to say the least. I mean, I’m supposed to get back to [Washington] D.C. How am I going to survive? Somebody’s going to ki-l me for sure [both laugh hysterically].”
Musk’s statements sounded like he was advised not to blow the horn too much on issues surrounding corruption because there could be repercussions. The billionaire claims there are people whose lives depend on the whole process that’s involved in insider trading, and to keep things running as it is, they may not hesitate to pull the trigger on him.
