Well, ‘Do Bronx’ took to x to state that this fight is a metaverse joke. So is the provision of Hooker vs. Oliveira fight over? Not exactly as Israel Adesanya seems to be pushing a fight for his New Zealandian friend at UFC 305.

Dan Hooker was scheduled to fight Bobby Green at UFC Fight Night: Dariush vs. Tsarukyan last year but it was canceled since he broke his arm while training and since then ‘Hangman’ has been sitting idle without any talks of fights from the promotion. However, seems like things are about to change for him as UFC’s star, Israel Adesanya has his back.

At the UFC 305 media day, former middleweight champ, Adesanya took the mic to ask a favor to the UFC’s top brass including Dana White. What is it, You ask? It’s the induction of Dan Hooker at the stacked UFC 305 card. “Dan Hooker needs to fight on this card. It’s atrocious that he is not even here right now. I have been trying to get him to come here, but he was in Sydney last week. He needs to fight on this card. He will fight anybody,” said Adesanya.

He further added, “So please, if you want to see this card get stacked even more, put on ‘The Hangman’ Hooker.Hey man, Dana doesn’t really give a fuck, he just wants the fight. He’s not here right now, so I will just speak for him. Whoever is watching: Sean, Hunter, Dana, Mick, please put Dan Hooker on this card”

Adesanya emphasized that he was watching Hooker fight at the UFC 281 and it reminded him of ‘Hangman’s debut fight in the promotion, “When I was watching [Hooker] fight, I was like, ‘This reminds me of Dan’s debut because Dan fought this guy who’s a leg lock specialist.”

He further added, “The guy took his legs and Dan’s bendy, he’s bendy as f**k, he’s so flexible and he was able to beat the guy and f**k him up from that position and eventually finished him.Dan said to himself at his UFC debut in Auckland, if this guy gets to my legs, and he cranks – Dan made an agreement with himself to just let it go like okay, he’s gonna break my legs, cool. He’s a psycho.”
