On top of that, they were spotted together on multiple occasions. This led  netizens to speculate that maybe the two were seeing each other. But are those speculations really true?

Are Diego Lopes and Alexa Grasso dating?

On one of the episodes of the Anik and Florian podcast, the famed UFC play-by-play commentator, Jon Anik, made a comment about the rumors of Lopes and Grasso dating each other. Anik said, “I think there are some rumblings that maybe Alexa Grasso and Diego Lopes are dating. You know, he is one of her cornermen. I guess that’s neither here nor there.”

However, things aren’t as romantic as we expect them to be between the former UFC women’s flyweight champion and the #3 featherweight contender. Neither Lopes nor Grasso said anything to confirm or deny the rumors. It seems like they’re nothing more than teammates at the Lobo Gym. Therein, Lopes also acts as the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor for Grasso. Hence, we can confirm that the relationship that Lopes and Grasso share is one that is platonic and professional.
