BJ Penn steps up as he rescues her daughter from domestic violence

The former dual weight champion of the world, BJ Penn recently took to his Instagram handle to share a photo of a man out cold in the middle of the pavement. You might be wondering why Penn shared such a photo. The reason is that the man depicted has been abusing his daughter and using domestic violence as a means of control.

As soon as BJ Penn found out about the atrocities, he immediately plunged into action as he knocked out the abuser and took a photo of him to shame him on social media. He captioned the image as “This is Pete, Pete found out he was allergic to hitting my daughter. Don’t be like Pete.”

He further gets into the detail as he narrates the story in the captions, “Yeah, we definitely have to be careful about how we raise our children i believe domestic violence, especially a man hitting a woman is a learned trait. The time when Penn was accused of considerable abuses

Back when BJ Penn was prepping himself for his return at UFC 237, the fighter was marred by an active restraining order from the courts. Why? That’s because Penn’s distant partner, Shealen Uaiwa obtained the restraining order against the fighter followed by a petition for protection back in 2018 by the Hawaii Family Court. Uaiwa accused the UFC HoFer of abusing her over the time frame of 10 years when they were together.

She alleged that Penn was verbally abusing her constantly and bullied her in front of their children. The estranged wife even accused the Hall of Famer of threatening to kill her family. She gave a written statement attached to the order to the courts. In her testimony, she wrote, “Because of his name, reputation, the control he has had over my life and I was scared.”I feel fearful for my safety and my childrens (sic) life, and for the influence he has over my children.”

Despite the accusations, no formal charges have been pressed by the authorities against the fighter. Regardless, what’s your take on BJ Penn’s actions? State your thoughts in the comments below.
