Conor McGregor may not be fighting, but he’s still making headlines. The most recent news that the UFC star has made was during his unexpected appearance at President Donald Trump‘s inauguration ceremony. McGregor was among the few personalities affiliated with the UFC, and he appears to have enjoyed the company of the people of Trump’s inner circle and even got to have a conversation with the First Lady.
Well, it was a conversation, but not face-to-face. Rather, Conor McGregor and Melania Trump chatted over a Facetime call as the Irishman shared a screenshot on Instagram, captioned, “Congratulating the first lady.” Thereafter, McGregor also shared a snap from an instance when he seemed to be having a pretty good time with Donald Trump’s ‘Secretary of Retribution’, Ivan Raiklin.
“Buzzing with the US Secretary of Retribution Ivan Raiklin! The Secretary of getting it back,” Conor McGregor added. “How about that! Mr. Payback! Incredible! MY MAN! Go f—ing get it Ivan. NEVER FORGET!” For context, Ivan Raiklin is a retired army veteran who later transitioned into working exclusively with Donald Trump.
