Volkov was running a three-fight winning streak while on the other hand, Pavlovich was coming off with a fresh loss against Tom Aspinall. Pavlovich needed the win but Volkov’s smart and tactical playthrough never really let Pa͏vlovich to have any control over the match. The three-round battle turned out to be brutal for Pavlovich as Volkov drew blood, literally.
