There was no way Donald Trump was missing out on the action-packed fights at UFC 314. The 2-time American President was there long before the UFC got sanctioned in all 50 states of the country. He let Dana White and Co. use the Taj Mahal Casino in Atlantic City when the UFC had nowhere else to turn to. And that was when the friendship between White and Trump truly began. And now, it has come to a point when the POTUS skips Oval Office meetings to watch fights by the UFC cage. At least, that’s what happened at UFC 314.

The communications director for the White House, Steven Cheung, revealed in a conversation with CNN, “President Trump and the UFC are cultural icons. He is a fan of the sport and the elite competitive spirit of all the athletes who step into the Octagon. He’ll be sitting cage side, like he always does, and the crowd will erupt in applause as he makes his signature walkout.” And boy was he right!

Right before the main card started, President Donald Trump stepped into the star-studded Kaseya Center, Miami, with Kid Rock’s ‘American Bada–’ blaring out of the speakers. He walked into the arena in style, accompanied by UFC CEO Dana White. The crowd boomed in applause as the POTUS walked to the cage-side and took his seat, close to the Octagon, but not before shaking hands with and embracing the commentary trio of Jon Anik, Joe Rogan and Daniel Cormier.

UFC world reacts to Donald Trump’s presence hours before UFC 314 commenced

It seemed like the netizens had had enough of Trump getting all the attention at UFC events. Most fight fans claimed that they wanted to watch the fights instead of the political aspect of things. A comment reflecting on this read, “This sh-t needs to end, people pay to see the fights, not a MAGA cult ritual.” Another fan chimed in and wrote, “The 1 ppv I actually want to watch they decide to fill it up with political nonsense.” It seemed the fighting realm was tired of White and the company trying to rally behind the POTUS in his quest to make America great again.

Meanwhile, some of the fans wondered if people actually cared about the American President in the current times. The comment read, “Ok? Do people still care about this guy lmao.” After all, this wasn’t the first time Trump was present in attendance of a UFC event. Another fan commented, “I thought he was tired of winning and winning.” Meanwhile, one of the fans weighed in on the controversial comments that Bryce Mitchell has recently fallen into. The comment went like, “Bryce winning and saying some crazy shi in front of trump.”
