Alex Pereira’s career earnings & UFC payouts

Since conquering two titles in separate divisions, the former UFC light heavyweight champion makes over $2 million per fight. If we take a deeper look, the Brazilian knockout machine made a reported $3,592,000 for his win over Jiri Prochazka in their rematch at UFC 303, when he stepped up to fight on short notice and saved the card. That was Pereira’s biggest payday, according to certain sources.

Alex Pereira’s second biggest payout came during his recent barnburner of a fight at UFC 307 when he went to war with Khalil Rountree Jr. For that scrap, ‘Poatan’ took home an astounding $2,992,000 after another knockout win. The next big payout for Pereira came at the historic UFC 300 PPV when he took home an estimated $2,942,000 after putting Jamahal Hill to sleep.

For a fighter who once struggled to make ends meet in Brazil, it’s a dramatic turnaround. And with another pay-per-view main event approaching at UFC 320, his earnings continue to climb, and his rise as a global name has also brought a wave of brand partnerships his way.

Which brands does Alex Pereira endorse?

With the world getting more digital every year, Alex Pereira decided to partner with a company that trades in NFTs named OWNIC. Then again, the Brazilian star has also aligned himself with AthleticCBD, a brand that manufactures pain relief and muscle recovery products. Being a fighter—a UFC star at that—’Poatan’ also gets paid by the promotion for his gear, similar to other fighters on the roster.

Earlier this year, the iGaming industry’s SPRIBE, known for making crash/arcade games, secured a lucrative partnership with Alex Pereira to promote their social multiplayer game, Aviator.  Add Roobet and Venum, and you’ve got a portfolio that spans gaming, fitness, and crypto. And naturally, with the money comes a star’s lifestyle!

Alex Pereira’s house, cars & other luxuries

Alex Pereira appears to love the luxury lifestyle because he’s got some valuable things in his possession. For starters, the UFC champ has two sports cars—a $280,000 Lamborghini Huracan Performante and a $68,000 Chevrolet Corvette. Pereira has a couple of luxurious bungalows to his name as well, one in his native country of Brazil and the other in the United States. However, the details of their worth aren’t available in the public domain.

Much like Conor McGregor, Alex Pereira also has a love for watches. In fact, he’s got separate watches for interviews before and after his UFC fights. Moreover, the UFC champion was seen sporting a Rolex GMT Pepsi with a Jubilee bracelet, which is reportedly worth around $15,000-20,000. But spending money on luxury items isn’t the only thing Pereira does because he tends to give back to the community where he was brought up.

There have been several instances when Alex Pereira has been seen donating a truckload of food for the people in Bastistini, Brazil, which is also his hometown. So yes, the man’s got some serious money to help himself and the people around him. Now, let’s shift our focus over to the details about his UFC contract!

Alex Pereira’s contract with the UFC

In early 2024, Pereira confirmed he had signed a new eight-fight deal with the UFC. The contract came just before his title defense against Jamahal Hill at UFC 300.

Speaking with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, Pereira revealed, “Starting this fight, there’s eight more. My relationship with the UFC is very good. I’m very grateful how the UFC and my management team get together. They’ve been doing great things together. I think the UFC also appreciates who I am because I’m a composed guy, I’m focused and I deliver.”

Now 38 years old, Alex Pereira hinted this could be his final long-term deal. It’s a fitting chapter for a man who’s already conquered two weight divisions and carved out a legacy and fortune few can match. With millions in the bank, major endorsements, and another title fight looming at UFC 320, Pereira’s empire keeps growing. The question now isn’t how he got rich, it’s how much higher he’ll climb before he’s done swinging those stone hands!
