For fans of Nick Diaz, there appears to be some good news. The UFC legend finally took to Instagram to offer an update on his personal life. The UFC welterweight posted a video of himself inside a hotel room with a sea view, claiming that he is on a retreat in Mexico and plans to hit a BJJ gym with a friend to continue his training.
He said, “Out here in Mexico. Got a little retreat center over here with the chef. So gonna hit this Jiu-Jitsu gym…they have out here somewhere. This guy Clark Gracy, I beat him in the US Open way back when we were kids. I think he’s got his home’s gym right here, so I’m gonna go and try to jam his place up.” It’s worth noting that Nick Diaz has recently received garnered severe negative attention.
The first incident happened a few weeks ago when the UFC legend was spotted strolling shirtless on the streets in an unstable state. The video deeply concerned his fans ahead of his UFC 310 comeback. To make matters further stranger, his UFC 310 fight was then canceled without proper explanation being provided to his supporters. However, the real reason was revealed by his girlfriend, who addressed his substance abuse issues on social media as she wrote, “@nickdiaz209 D-ug add–tion doesn’t last forever. You either find sobriety, or it takes your life.”
