The return of Conor McGregor back to The Ultimate Fighter induced a volcanic eruption of excitement in the MMA world and with it came his signature back-and-forth trash talk. He became a coach on TUF against Michael Chandler and their square-off in the finale has been much anticipated by the fans. Although the excitement levels went down a bit, the world was reignited after Dana White announced the weight class for the TUF finale.

After that, the two fighters continued to take jabs at each other on the internet. Recently, Michael Chandler had a talk with ESPN MMA. ‘Iron’ made some comments on the Dubliner’s drinking habits at BKFC 4. Moreover, he predicted how the fight against the ‘Mystic Mac’ would go. ‘The Notorious’, who is infamous for his trash-talking on social media, did not stay quiet. He took to Twitter and gave out his prediction as a reply to Chandler.

‘Iron’ in a recent interview with ESPN MMA, detailed the advantages that he would have over the Irishman in their rumored catchweight bout. Chandler said, “My prediction is that I finish him in the second round by KO, clean KO, his head bounces off the canvas… I think he thinks he’s big, I think he thinks he’s more powerful than he ever has been and those things are definitely true. He has put on some size, but he hasn’t carried that size.”
He continued, “He has been carrying this size for ten months. I’ve been carrying this size for ten years. And he’s not as big as he thinks he is. He is gonna be, he is gonna be slower than he thought he was. And I’m gonna go out there, pick him apart, pick him up, put him down, beat him in any way that I want to.”
Undeniably, the former UFC double champion doesn’t back off easily. As he came across the video clip on Twitter, he responded in a swift manner. He Tweeted, “You’re getting crushed, pal.” Undoubtedly, things have begun to stir as we await the date for the fight.
Chandler comments on McGregor’s drinking
McGregor made a charismatic appearance at the BKFC 41. Although the Dubliner seemed to have fun drinking at the event, Chandler found a way to take a few jabs.
He commented that the Dubliner was indeed a “master self-salesman” for promoting his whiskey. However, Chandler‘s views on the drunk appearance of ‘Mystic Mac’ stirred up the entire world of mixed martial arts.
