Paulo Costa has been absent from the octagon for a considerable time and is now eager to make a comeback. Costa has been calling out Chimaev, but Chimaev seems to be giving no importance to the fighter. In an attempt to sort things out, Costa has now called out Dana White to make the matchup.

Costa was initially slated to headline the UFC 294 event alongside Khamzat Chimaev, but an unfortunate shoulder surgery, followed by another procedure due to a staph infection, forced him out of the bout. Paulo Costa wants Dana White to reschedule his fight against Khamzat Chimaev

Paulo Costa is eager to step back into ͏the octagon and has his sights set on a showdown with one of the UFC’s rising stars. The formidable Brazilian, known for his powerful presence in the middleweight division, is ͏eyeing a comeback bout against the highly-regarded Khamzat Chimaev early next year.

MMA enthusiasts are also waiting for Costa’s comeback because the fighter has taken a long break. The prospect of a potential matchup with Chimaev has fueled the excitement even more for the fans. However, there have been no updates from Chimaev for now.

‘Borrachinna’ in his pursuit to have a matchup against the undefeated fighter has been constantly making tweets about the fight and in his latest escape, the fighter has urged Dana White to book a fight between him and Chimaev. In the tweet, Costa explained that he is constantly trying to call White to reschedule his fight against Chimaev.

Despite Costa’s attempt, Chimaev seems to have shifted his focus elsewhere. ‘Borz’ is currently in recovery after his fight against Usman. Costa Has even called out Robert Whittaker for a fight.

Paulo Costa had issued another challenge to Robert Whittaker for a February showdown. Taking to his X(Formerly Twitter) account, Costa asserted that Whittaker is actively seeking a fight, and he’s more than willing to step up to the challenge. ‘Borrachinna’ said “Gourmet Chen Chen is completely hidden. Whittaker is looking for a fight?  i fight in February”

Interestingly alongside the challenging tweet targeted towards Khamzat Chimaev, Costa made another tweet stating that if Chimaev is now willing to fight him and is hiding then he would be more than happy to fight Robert Whittaker soon.
