Israel Adesanya slams Colby Covington
Colby Covington is coming off a recent win against his biggest rival in the promotion, Jorge Masvidal, at UFC 272. Prior to his fight against ‘Gamebred,’ Covington took a dig at the middleweight champion, and spoke about competing for the middleweight title.
However, this didn’t sit too well with the reigning champion. In an interview with TMZ sports, Israel Adesanya gave his thoughts on the callout.
“Everyone always has that idea until they cross the cage from me… You can’t just come straight for the champ. Who the f**k are you? Yeah, I’m like, ‘Are you dumb?’ Yeah, call someone else out.
